Facilities Operations Specialist

The School of Theatre + Dance in the College of the Arts seeks Facilities Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day facilities operations and event logistics for the School. Responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of school spaces, coordinating repairs and work orders, managing assets and equipment procurement, and supporting capital projects. The role also plans and facilitates special events, guest visits, and provides technical support for classroom technology. Serving as the primary Building Emergency Coordinator, the position ensures health, safety, and security compliance, including access systems and safety equipment upkeep. Additionally, the position advises on facilities policies and works collaboratively with School leadership to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
