As the Executive Assistant, you will be the right hand to our President & CEO, helping to shape the Symphony’s future by ensuring every day runs smoothly and every interaction reflects our core values of Quality, Welcoming, Innovation, Inclusion, and Passion. You will manage a dynamic and ever-changing calendar, coordinate complex meetings, and serve as a welcoming liaison between the President & CEO and a wide range of stakeholders. Your days will include preparing and ghostwriting correspondence and presentations, conducting insightful research to ensure our leadership is fully prepared for every engagement, and planning and overseeing staff meetings in partnership with the President & CEO.
A key part of your role will be leading the coordination, scheduling, and oversight of all Board Meetings and Committee meetings of the Richmond Symphony Board of Directors and the Richmond Symphony Foundation Board of Trustees. You’ll handle everything from preparing and distributing materials to managing logistics, ensuring that our board members can focus on advancing the Symphony’s mission. You will also respond thoughtfully and promptly to a variety of requests, always maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $50,000.
