Director of Audiovisual Technology Services (AV Services)

Director of Audiovisual Technology Services (AV Services) is responsible for the oversight and delivery of the audiovisual technology services of Barnard College, a core aspect of academic infrastructure. In addition to maintaining and keeping inventory of existing systems, the Director leads in the design and project management of audiovisual installations and implementations for new and renovated classrooms and event spaces, in close collaboration with Events Management, Capital Projects, BCIT, Facilities, and others as needed. The Director sets strategic direction for the department and oversees the work of the Associate Director of AV Services, who manages, schedules, and supervises a team of five FTE Audiovisual Services Technicians (AV Techs), who provide audiovisual support for all major events (including online webinar events) as well as daily classroom support.
