Department of Transportation's Asphalt Art Activation Program

The 2023 Asphalt Art Activations open call is live! DOT Art invites artists to submit qualifications to be considered for installation of dynamic murals within pedestrianized street segments. Selected artists may receive up to $20,000 depending on scale of project site and will be called to implement between spring and fall 2023. Apply by February 1, 2023. The Department of Cultural Affairs is proud to partner with DOT on this program that provides artists with paid opportunities to create safer, more beautiful public spaces.
