Currents Creative Partnership

Once again, Third Coast Percussion is running their Currents Creative Partnership this year. They are going to work closely with a composer at the beginning of their career over the course of their season, including 3 workshop sessions in person at their studio, to present a new work in their 2024-2025 Chicago Concert season performance.

Here’s the basic information:
- no application fee
- deadline October 31, 2023
- application materials include: resume, score sample, recording, optional recommendation and artist statement
- there is a $2500 honorarium for the selected composer
- and new for this year, they are providing travel reimbursement up to $1,000 for US based travel and $1,500 for international travel
