Chinatown family photos and stories

Chinatown Photo Album is seeking submissions of family photographs and stories connected to Manhattan’s Chinatown. Their community-sourced archive aims to tell the history of Chinatown through the everyday moments, milestones and memories of its people.

Application Instructions

You can send your submission via email to chinatownphotoalbum@gmail.com, or via Instagram DM at @ChinatownPhotoAlbum. Please send digital files of your family photos and the story behind them. Tell them the who, what, when and where, and anything else you want to share alongside the photo(s). Their definition of “family” is expansive to include both biological and chosen family. Feel free to browse the Instagram account for examples of previous submissions.
