Casting Call - Senior South Asian Actors for Indie Short

Casting:

55 to 70 years old, South Asian, female.
An engaged mother who’d like to see her daughter settled with a nice, responsible partner. Opinionated but not confrontational ie.she’ll never tell anyone they can’t do something, but she will make a comment about whatever they do.

A little about the project:
An dark comedic indie short about finding love as part of the diaspora.

Details:
Union or non-union. Project is deferred pay under SAG New Media contract, but travel stipend of $100/day will be provided.

Requirements

Actor MUST be able to speak a few lines of Tamil or Hindi.

Actor MUST be available to shoot in NYC from Jul 14-17 2022 (you will only be needed for 1-2 days in that window)
