Hard-working, loving, reticent. A Korean immigrant who runs a Flatbush local produce/market. A victim of scam/fraud and has faced racial discrimination, leading to his wife’s death. Has a life-changing acute stroke, leaving him with limited mobility and aphasia.

[HYE JIN][SUPPORTING] 18 to 25 years old; East Asian, Filipino, Pacific Islander, South Asian, Southeast Asian; woman. KOREAN ACTORS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
Youthful, immature, cheeky. A Korean-American high school student who supports her father and the family business by working in the market after school. Although loving, she feels the exhaustion of being Mr. Lee’s primary caretaker, when Seo Jun begins overseeing the family business.
