Call For Emerging Artists — New Futures at The Other Art Fair Chicago

The Other Art Fair Chicago is excited to announce that applications are now open for the New Futures Program taking place December 17–20 at Artifact Events.  

The New Futures program is designed to support first-time exhibiting artists by removing traditional barriers to entry in the contemporary art world. The selected artist receives a free exhibition space at The Other Art Fair, plus access to exclusive career development opportunities, professional mentorship, and ongoing guidance.

Chosen in collaboration with art world experts and local creative partners, New Futures recipients bring diverse and exciting perspectives to the forefront of today’s art scene.

The Other Art Fair, presented by online gallery Saatchi Art, is tailor-made to support independent artists. Each Fair attracts thousands of art lovers looking to buy directly from a curated collection of artists. With Fairs across the world in North America, the UK and Australia, The Other Art Fair is a global brand with a local focus.

The Other Art Fair brings together over 120 independent artists to showcase boundary-pushing yet always accessible works, alongside immersive installations, live performances, and unexpected encounters.

Application Instructions

Applications are completely free to submit. There are different applications for each Fair city. Please ensure you are submitting the relevant application and remember that you must be a resident of the Fair city for which you are applying.
