Call for Submissions: KAPWA Issue 04: Word of Mouth

Sari-Sari Studio is now accepting submissions for our fourth issue of Kapwa!

The theme of this issue is WORD OF MOUTH: Maintaining the connections, and reconnecting to, our stories and our culture through generations of evolution and movement.

We want to explore how our community stays connected to our culture. We all have different stories, different roots, different paths, and different traditions, yet at the same time we are all connected. This issue provides an outlet to document all of these experiences and stories that have been passed down and that we want to continue to pass down.

We’re opening up parts of this issue to submissions. For each category, we’ll be choosing a limited number of pieces. Details of the different content categories for submissions are in the post above, and at our link in bio. Please fill out the form at that link if you’d like to submit.

The remainder of this zine will be pieces and interviews curated and created by our team. This issue will be available to order in October.
