Call for artist Theatre Raymond Kabbaz

TRK is seeking artists to exhibit and sell works in an exterior courtyard on wooden panels measuring 40”wide and 80” for these events:

• Right in the Eye, February 28
• Malaise dans la civilisation, March 14 & 15
• Seamus Egan, March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day!)
• A Week of French Language Cinema, March 19-24
  
• John Scofield Trio, April 7
• Sous le poids des plumes, May 1
• Los Angeles Virtuosi conducted by Carlo Ponti, May 17
• Ruptures, May 30 & 31

Artists keep all proceeds from their sales.

TRK is accepting submissions from artists who live in Los Angeles County. Applications from artists living outside of LA County will not be considered.

Requirements

Exhibit details:

Dimensions of wooden panels (photo attached): 40" wide by 80" long

Number of panels: 15

Artist must:

• Bring Artwork
• Bring hardware to hang art on panels
• Be able to hang artwork on panels by themselves
• Conduct their own sales using their own platforms (iPad, Square, etc.)
• Artist may also bring floor stands and other display items, promotional materials. -Submit an artist statement reflecting on how the artwork fits into the theme of the night.

TRK provides:

• 1 banquet table with linen
• 2 chairs
  
• S hooks to hang artwork on panels
• Internet access
• 2 complimentary tickets to the event (value $100)
• Marketing and promotion of the artist, and artist will be included in online program the night of the event.
