The Audience Services Associate will support the Audience Services/Box Office team with sales and ticket operations and overall audience experience. This is a part-time position that involve some irregular hours including nights and weekends during performance and high volume ticket promotion periods.
Areas of Responsibility
Audience Services and Ticketing.
Provide sales and customer service support for ticketing operations, which involves single tickets, subscriptions, and group sales, both on the phone and in person.
Maintain professional appearance of upfront box office.
Data entry and maintenance in Tessitura such as attendance tracking and updating accounts.
Provide excellent customer service to BLO patrons at various venues
Respond to any/all voicemails and emails left for Audience Services and rerecord greetings to relay information as needed for performances/holidays/etc.
Work with the Audience Services team to track Audience Services Cash Box and incoming mail.
Provide onsite support for the Box Office for live events
Other duties as assigned
Job Conditions
The position is temporary, part time, non exempt role. Regular business hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work with seasonal high volume periods. Regular onsite work is required for BLO performances and events in Boston and across the greater Boston area (both during the week and/or on weekends).
Salary
The hourly rate for this position is $16.00
