NYU is currently recruiting individuals to participate in a two-hour in-person focus group. The purpose of the study is to develop a culturally adaptive and critical consciousness-based chatbot prototype by embedding Asian American and LGBTQ+ history, theories, and concepts into a digital platform.

Participants will receive a $30 Amazon gift card and an additional $6 to cover transportation costs.

Requirements

  • current or former professors/lecturers/students in Asian American Studies, Ethnic Studies, Queer and Gender Studies or other related disciplines that touch on the same topics (e.g., American Studies, Sociology, Social Work, etc.)
  • 18 years old or older
  • resides in New York City
  • English proficient
  • able to travel to NYU or Hunter College for a focus group session
