Artisans and makers — join the NY Handmade Collective!

Are you a handmade artisan? Do you sell your products online? Do you live in or near NYC? Then the NY Handmade Collective—NYC’s nonprofit artisan and maker guild—invites you to apply to join a supportive community of fellow makers. They help each other achieve our business and creative goals through selling opportunities, community, member promotion, professional development, and more.

Applications open Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Applications close Friday, January 23, 2026 (11:59pm ET).

They represent 300 artisans and are 100% powered by members volunteering their time and talents.

Their annual membership fee is $45. They especially encourage makers from historically marginalized communities, or anyone who finds the membership fee a barrier to entry, to apply through the Access NYHC program.

Requirements

Eligibility requirements:

1) sell items handmade by you
2) sell through an established ecommerce storefront
3) live in or near (1.5 hours from midtown) NYC
4) have a google account (e.g., Gmail address)

Application Instructions

The application link will be posted on our website starting January 7, 2026. Fill out and submit an application form no later than Friday January 23, 2026. They estimate most people can apply in 30 minutes.
