Abrons EXP

Abrons EXP is a live music series in the heart of the Lower East Side. Abrons Arts Center’s Experimental Theater—a flexible, black box theater venue—hosts showcases organized by music curators and artists at a discounted rental rate.

For $1,000, performers receive a lead technician, box office manager, front of house team, a 5-7pm soundcheck, and a 7-10pm show. All ticket sales go to the curator/artists.

Requirements

• You must be a music curator or artist looking to curate a bill with 2-3 music acts.
• Your event must take place between June 10 - June 14, 2026.
• Your technical needs must stay within our standard rep package with no more than 6 inputs, pre-set lighting looks, and no projection.
• Abrons Arts Center does not have an instrument backline aside from an upright piano. Instruments will need to be supplied and transported by artists/curators.
