The Vilcek Foundation is currently hosting an open call for applications for the 2025 Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Curatorial Work. In 2025, the foundation will award three prizes of $50,000 to immigrant and foreign-born curators. The deadline to apply for one of three $50,000 prizes is June 10, 2024.

Prizewinners will each receive a personalized trophy, an unrestricted cash award of $50,000, and will be featured in a high-profile media campaign with news placements in art publications. Prizewinners will be celebrated in an awards reception in New York City in April 2025.

Requirements

Candidates must have 5 years of professional experience having organized and developed single artist or group exhibitions with museums, galleries, public or private institutions, corporate collections, private collections, art fairs or annual exhibitions, or in any other professional or independent practice. To be eligible for a Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise in Curatorial Work, applicants must have been born outside of the United States to non-American parents, and must be living and working in the United States.
