2024 Foundwork Artist Prize: $10,000 Grant with Remote Studio Visits

The Foundwork Artist Prize is an annual award for emerging and mid-career artists working in any media. This year’s honoree will receive an unrestricted $10,000 grant and remote studio visits with each of the distinguished jurors.

Additionally, the honoree—and each of three shortlisted artists—will be invited to participate in long-form interviews, as part of our Dialogues program, to further public engagement with their work.

Our 2024 jury includes acclaimed curators, gallerists, and artists based between four continents:

Mohamed Almusibli, Director and Curator, Kunsthalle Basel, Basel
Lorraine Kiang, Cofounder, Kiang Malingue Gallery, Hong Kong
Rachel Uffner, Founder, Rachel Uffner Gallery, New York
Monsieur Zohore, Multidisciplinary artist, Richmond, New York, and Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire

Requirements

The Prize is open to artists worldwide with limited exceptions. To be considered, artists need to maintain a profile on Foundwork, with 6 or more artworks and an artist statement, through the selection period: 11:59pm PT, September 26 – 11:59pm PT, December 31.
