Brooklyn Arts Council grants strive to support local artists and small arts organizations whose work enhances the cultural climate of our borough, city, state, and nation. These awards encourage professional development, community growth, and fellowship among artists.

GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
Each year, Brooklyn Arts Council selects local artists for an array of competitive grants.

BROOKLYN ARTS FUND
Brooklyn Arts Fund cultivates artists, arts organizations, and audiences through specific and engaging arts projects.

LOCAL ARTS SUPPORT
Designed with nonprofit organizations and artist-nonprofit partnerships in mind, Local Arts Support helps develop high-quality local arts projects and programs that focus on community engagement.

CHARLENE VICTOR AND
ELLA J. WEISS CULTURAL ENTREPRENEUR FUND
Honoring the legacy of Brooklyn Arts Council’s founder, Charlene Victor, and former president, Ella J. Weiss, the Cultural Entrepreneur Fund affords two woman-identifying Brooklyn artists with funds to pursue professional development opportunities.

DESTINATION > BROOKLYN
Designed to amplify the city’s appeal as a culturally vibrant destination, Destination>Brooklyn amplifies the city by funding the promotion of not-for-profit arts and cultural programs in all disciplines.
