Virtual Author Talk with Paula Yoo

Join for a virtual conversation with award-winning writer Paula Yoo as she discusses her wide-ranging career and her latest book, “Rising from the Ashes,” about the 1992 Los Angeles uprising. Yoo will also talk about her writing process and offer advice to young writers on how to break into creative writing, nonfiction and television.

Her other books include “From a Whisper to a Rallying Cry: The Killing of Vincent Chin and the Trial that Galvanized the Asian American Movement” and the teen novel “Good Enough.” Her television writing and producer credits include “Supergirl,” “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” and “The West Wing.”
