She founded The Vangeline Theater in December 2002 and has been training extensively with Master teachers Diego Pinon of the Butoh ritual Mexicano Center and Tetsuro Fukuhara, Daisuke Yoshimoto, Katsura Kan, Yumiko Yoshioka, Ko Murobushi, Yoshito Ohno from Japan. She has been teaching Butoh classes to dancers and non dancers in the New York Area since 2002. Her workshops provide an opportunity to explore and move deeply into a process which Butoh dance cultivates; of seeking the emergence of the deeper self, awakening lost parts of the human being, exploring all human qualities to transform our dance, our daily life and offer creative energy to the community.
