Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition

The 8th annual Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition will take place March 26-30 at Symphony Space. More than 100 dancers from around the world, including China, Brazil, Japan, Italy, South Korea, and more, will dance for medals, scholarships and company contracts. The star-filled panel of judges will be led by Andris Liepa, and will include Nina Ananiashvili, Charles Jude, Sun Hee Kim, Mikko Nissinen, and Nikolai Tsiskaridze. Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday are the classical and contemporary rounds; Thursday are the Finals; Friday the announcement of awards and Gala Performance.
