Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition

The 5th Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition is announced for May 26-30 at Symphony Space. Approx. 180 classical ballet and contemporary dancers will gather in NYC to dance before a distinguished panel of 28 judges, including Andris Liepa, Nina Ananiashvili, Lawrence Rhodes, Zhirui Zou of China, Hae Shik Kim, Sun Hee Kim, and Jeon Mi Sook (all of South Korea). Prizes include contracts with dance companies in the U.S., Romania, and Argentina, and scholarships to schools and conservatories around the world, including Paris, Toronto, Boston, Munich, and Rio de Janeiro.
