Join for a day of performance, healing, and celebration — through words, sound, and voice. Whether you speak one language, two, or something in-between, Tongues is for you.
Tongues is more than a performance — it’s a bilingual gathering, an offering, a space to honor your mother tongues, your migration stories, and the in-betweens.
In addition to the performances of Tongues, join for a workshop from Wisteria Deng, “From Stress to Strength: Multi-Sensory Healing Workshop for Immigrants & Allies in NYC” and end the night with “Mother Tongues Karaoke” with special guest Ziru Wang!
1:00 PM — “Tongues” Performance #1
3:30 PM — Healing Workshop
6:30 PM — “Tongues” Performance #2
8:00 PM — Karaoke open mic
“TONGUES” PERFORMANCES WILL BE CAPTIONED FOR DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING AUDIENCE.
