Announcing the 2nd edition of Text2Speech! This Saturday from 6-8pm @brief_histories we present you with a LITE version, a bittersweet evening featuring an all-star lineup of @meryemxuzu, @ehabib.e, @cristalinaparra & @star.moves. We were hungry and came back for more, but only a LITE bite. What you can expect from this round is a refutation of the prison industrial complex, the casting of spells, and a reckoning of duality. ADDAMEER (Arabic for conscience) Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association is a Palestinian non-governmental, civil institution that works to support Palestinian political prisoners held in Israeli and Palestinian prisons. Established in 1991 by a group of activists interested in human rights, the center offers free legal aid to political prisoners, advocates their rights at the national and international level, and works to end torture and other violations of prisoners’ rights through monitoring, legal procedures and solidarity campaigns.
