Taiko workshops

Taiko workshops for beginners, Hands on for beginners with explanation and background of instruments.

Simple instructions on how to play the instrument- Taiko drums and sticks will be provided.

Great way to learn and start studying the Taiko drum at the Taiko Center of New York (Since 1995)

One workshop is $15.00 and 2 days is $25

Wed. 12/7 - 7-9pm -Beginners Fue workshop - learn how to play simple songs- instruments provided and for sale.

Sunday, 12/11 - 3-5 pm -Beginners Taiko Workshop

Wed. 12/14 - 7-9 PM- Beginners Shakuhachi workshops, flutes provided. Learn how to create sound, play some songs and better your playing

Sunday 12/18 -3-5 PM, Beginners Shakuhachi workshop, flutes provided. Learn how to create sound or better your playing and learn simple songs

Wed., 12/21 -7-9 PM -Beginners Taiko Workshop

Costs per workshop is $15.00 & $25 for the 2 days -(we are able to offer these workshops thanks to a grant from NYC ‘s DCA)
