June 6 – September 27, 2026
Join Pearl River Mart for the opening of their newest art exhibition.
From illustrator Sammy Yuen comes an exhibition that sheds light on the various Asian American communities that arose and resided around historic highway, Route 66.
Turning 100 this fall, Route 66 is one of the original highways in the U.S. It stretches nearly 2,500 miles, traversing the country from Santa Monica, CA to Chicago, IL. Along the way are landmarks that pinpoint AAPI communities, from the mysterious guardian lions in Amboy, CA to the WWII Chinese American cadets stationed in Kingman, AZ to the Chinese American museum in Chicago that once housed a tofu factory.
