Revolutionary/Mother Excerpt Table Read + Talk Back

In her first public event, filmmaker Yuko Torihara will introduce her new documentary film REVOLUTIONARY/MOTHER. The afternoon will be accompanied by a group of actors doing a partial table read, followed by a short talk back.

REVOLUTIONARY/MOTHER logline: A NYC filmmaker guides viewers into Japan’s little known radical history of global resistance and its relevance today, introducing one family who risked all in the name of justice.

REVOLUTIONARY/ MOTHER is a sponsored project of the New York Foundation for the Arts and is made possible by the New York State Council of the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. The film is also supported by the Sundance Humanities Sustainability Fellowship.
