Flushing Town Hall celebrates Queens Rising 2022 with an exciting line-up of programs in June 2022. QUEENS RISING is a multi-disciplinary arts celebration, scheduled for June 2022, designed to highlight our borough’s cultural and creative diversity by amplifying and promoting Queens arts and culture.

Valerie Green/Dance Entropy: HOME

HOME, by Valerie Green/Dance Entropy is an international cross-collaborative dance project featuring choreographers from Sweden, India, Burkina Faso, Colombia, Lebanon and the USA. What does home mean to you? These world re-known choreographers working with VG/DE explore what home means to them from their country of origin. Join us for a captivating journey around the world through dance and music. In these divided times, connection and understanding across diverse cultures is more important and needed than ever. Queens World Film Festival: LGBTQIA+ Short Films

Celebrate Pride with LGBTQIA+ short films curated by the Queens World Film Festival. Seven short Prideful films will cover it all - from coming together to splitting apart. The films will be followed by post-screening panel discussion and reception.
