Lost in Shanghai is a play with music, written and composed by Angel Lam, and directed by Chongren Fan. An adventure love story set in 1940’s Shanghai of a young man trying to make his fortune during war time, it shows a glimpse into the lavish and mysterious city called “Paris of the East.” It uses original songs with an innovative blend of classical music, contemporary sounds, and East Asian musical aesthetics.
