Online Manga Workshop for Teens – Let’s Get Kawaii!

This online teen course from Japan Society will explore various kawaii—or cute—styles of Japanese manga characters. You will learn to draw chibi (little) characters, yurukyara (Japanese mascots) and what makes each character unique and popular. Participants will combine it all into an original character creation. Add an interesting new tool to your artistic toolbox by trying one of Japan’s iconic styles with this 4-session course!

$120/$100 Japan Society members. Open to middle and high school students. Space is limited; advanced registration required.
