October Collage & Craft Workshop

Revitalize your creative practice with collaging! Together you’ll explore different analog collage techniques, create your own unique pieces, and walk away with a prompt to complete at home. The facilitator, Chris Deng, will guide you through the process, offering tips and questions to muse upon while you make meaning together.
All skill levels are welcome. Ticket includes an assortment of magazines, tools, and refreshments! 2 spots are reserved at 50% retail price at a first-come, first-serve basis.

Chris Deng (she/they) is a writer and multidisciplinary artist born and based in New York. They are the author of “A Journey Ahead”, a bilingual collection of personal histories from seven Chinese American older adults residing in Two Bridges, Manhattan. She’s worked with artists, activists, and community orgs to confront and rework stories of grief, resistance, and collective memory. You can usually catch her running around in Chinatown, exchanging gossip with elders.
