Nothing to do here but Wait

Mandarin Express inaugurates its exhibition program with Nothing to do here but Wait, a solo exhibition by Amiko Li opening September 12, 2025. Conceived for a temporary, alternative-space setting, the project debuts a moving-image work alongside sculptural and installation pieces. Li reimagines the elevator as a site of suspended time, where movement, memory, and language converge into a metaphor of temporary dwelling.
