Live Chat with Actor, Perry Yung of HBOmax's "Warrior"

Saturday, February 20, 2021
7:30 – 8:30PM

AsAmNews is excited to get up close (virtually) and personal with actor, Perry Yung on our live fan Zoom chat, Saturday at 7:30pm EST. You know him as “Father Jun” on HBO Max’s tv drama, “Warrior.”

“Warrior” is a television drama based on a concept by Bruce Lee, and set in San Francisco’s Chinatown during the 1880’s. It’s produced by Lee’s daughter Shannon and directed by Justin Lin and Jonathan Trooper. The show is centered around the Tong Wars, a series of violent disputes between rival Chinese Tong factions in Chinatowns throughout America. It includes great martial arts that will leave you wanting to know whose butt got kicked the most in each episode.

Perry said he especially would like to talk about episodes, 8, 9 and 10 in season 2 before the Zoom. So start catching up if you haven’t watched those episodes yet. We’ll have have time for fan questions too!

Get started on your Warrior binge-watching if you’re not caught up yet, then RSVP for our fan Zoom with Yung. Fans will have an opportunity to ask questions. There is a limited availability of attendees to maintain a good fan experience. We are currently at 50 percent capacity.

The event wil be moderated by Staff Writer of AsAmNews and administrator of Chinatowns of New York City, Shirley L. Ng.
