LEAP Connect: Shattered Relationalities, Trauma, and Vietnamese American Experience

Join us for April’s LEAP Connect session with Professor Linh Nguyen. This session will discuss intergenerational trauma not as a traumatic past that Vietnamese Americans inherit, but as a strategy used in texts by second-generation Vietnamese Americans. The Vietnamese experience is not only located in the past and the war but also in the everyday experiences of poverty and racial violence in the United States. LEAP Connect leadership workshops are free, accessible to the public, and are intended to bring a safe space to the API community. Participants can walk away from the sessions with the tools and resources necessary to increase their leadership skills and inspire change.
