Industry Spotlight: The Opposite of a Fairy Tale Screening & Networking Reception

Film Lab’s Industry Spotlight Coordinator, Renee Lasher, will be moderating a special presentation of the Film Lab production arm, AAFL TV’s film The Opposite of a Fairy Tale (an official selection of Palm Springs Desert Film Society, the 39th Annual Asian American International Film Festival, the SAG-AFTRA Foundation NY Shorts Showcase, a MOCAFilm, and many more) with filmmaker and Film Lab President Jennifer Betit Yen and several of the film’s cast and crew! We will talk about ageism in Hollywood and have a special red carpet event for seniors who have suffered from or witnessed elder abuse. Be a part of this dialogue and help pave the way for a better tomorrow for our seniors.
Filmmakers and actors: Come network with fellow filmmakers and actors and learn more about AAFL TV’s work to effectuate positive and constructive social change through original content TV and film. We will have a reception to encourage more discussion and networking for future film and TV projects! Bring plenty of business cards/headshots!
