7:30PM

The Moving Orchestra, presented by Groupmuse, is partnering with MÔTÔ Spirits, for a wild evening of expansive sound worlds, music synesthesia, and aural treats for the palette! Come enjoy a multi-sensory experience in a performance matching textural sophistication of drinks from MÔTÔ Spirit’s renowned whiskey distillery for this incredible Massivemuse!

Established in 2019, The Moving Orchestra’s mix of musicians, dancers, actors, and visual artists has presented programs across New York City heavily based in improvisation, tailored to spaces ranging from art galleries, blackboxes, and restaurants. Led by Asian artists and inspired by Black collectives such as the Association for Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM), they are lifting the practice of interdisciplinary collaborative art in their community and carving a new, self-empowering “what’s possible” in creative performance.

This iteration will feature The Moving Orchestra’s co-founders, violinist Katherine Kyu Hyeon Lim and pianist Joey Chang, alongside extraordinary trumpet player Dave Adewumi, kaleidoscopic vocalist Hillary Bonhomme, and paragon dancer Zachary Gonder.
