Hib Hib: A Hmong American Sketch Comedy Show

This year, the ARTsonists are celebrating the 50th year of Hmong Americans on Television! Come in, sit back, and experience a night of unforgettable laughter as the actors take you on a hilarious journey through the exciting television shows on Hmong Media Outlet (HMO). Hib Hib is completely written, produced, and performed by Hmong American artists from Fresno, California.

In this live comedy show, the Hmong American experience is explored to bridge a connection to underrepresented communities through a unique cultural lens. Pronounced “hee hee”, Hib Hib has performed annually during Fresno Hmong New Year to contribute to the cultural festivities. As Fresno is one of the two largest Hmong populations in the US, the ARTsonists’s mission for this production revolves largely around creating representation for the Hmong Americans.
