Egg Rolls, Egg Creams, and Empanadas Street Festival

Sunday, June 18, 2023
12 – 4PM

Join us on Eldridge Street between Canal and Division for the Museum at Eldridge Street’s signature event!

Come eat and celebrate with us!

In its 22nd year, the Museum at Eldridge Street’s Egg Rolls, Egg Creams, and Empanadas Street Festival is a celebration of the diverse traditions that give the Lower East Side and Chinatown its identity.

Embrace the spirit of this ever-changing neighborhood and its rich immigration history with the Museum’s magnificent home, the 1887 landmark Eldridge Street Synagogue, as the backdrop. The festival fills Eldridge Street with a medley of Jewish, Chinese, and Puerto Rican tastes, sights, sounds, and crafts for folks of all ages to enjoy! This festival is free to attend, and all are welcome!

For COVID-19 safety and crowd control, we will only be offering outside activities.

The Museum will be closed to visitors.

The Egg Rolls, Egg Creams, and Empanadas Festival is supported, in part, by the National Endowment for the Arts; New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature; the Office of the Manhattan Borough President / Honorable Mark Levine; New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in Partnership with the City Council; NYC & Company Foundation; and the Shanti Foundation for Intercultural Understanding.
