Downtown Music Productions plays Weill and Milhaud

Howl! Happening and Mimi Stern-Wolfe’s Downtown Music Productions present a program of two innovative compositions from the 1920: Mahagonny Songspiel (1927), music by Kurt Weill and text by Bertolt Brecht; and Darius Milhaud’s 1923 La creation du monde. The Downtown Chamber & Opera Players will be joined by guest singers Karla simmons, Darcy Dunn, Charles Calotta, Jorrell Williams, Charles Carter and Justin Austin. Performance is a benefit for the Actor’s Fund.
