Did You Eat? (밥 먹었니?)

Seoulful Productions, a Korean American women led 501©(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to tell the stories of the Korean American diaspora for theatre, TV, and film, will be presenting their inaugural show Did You Eat? (aka 밥 먹었니?) at The 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland. Ahead of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, we will have NYC previews at 59e59 Theaters.

Did You Eat? (밥 먹었니?) is an original semi-autobiographical solo show. While this is primarily a story about generational trauma and how it affects our love language between lovers, friends, and family — it’s also a story about food, identity, parent-child relationships, and the Korean-American experience. During 60 whirlwind minutes, audiences are guaranteed to laugh and cry in this funny, intimate, heartbreaking, and introspective tale that will linger long after they’ve left the theatre.
