Dance Parade

The 10th Anniversary of this grand celebration of dance will feature more than 6,000 dancers in 73 unique dance styles. Grand Marshals are famed choreographer Garth Fagan (“the Lion King”) and renowned hip-hoppers Kwikstep and Rokafella. The Parade will begin at 1 PM, May 21, on Broadway & 21st St, continue down Union Square, turn east on St. Mark’s Place to Tompkins Square Park, where from 3 to 7 PM celebration will continue with performances on set-up stages, mini-dance classes, and social dancing.
