Chromic Duo x New York Philharmonic Nightcap Series

Chromic Duo, a toy piano + multimedia duo represented by Concert Artists Guild, is performing on 5/27 for the New York Philharmonic’s late-night Nightcap series.

Their sound-world is inspired by Cage, Ravel, and will be paying tribute to Ryuchi Sakamoto with an arrangement for toy pianos, prepared piano, and electronics. They will also be performing selections from their EP, “Room of Oceans”, and honoring Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) month with an original composition and performance ritual, “From Roots We Carry” in collaboration with artist Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya.
