Founded in Beijing in 2013, The Humor Section is one of China’s earliest American-style stand-up comedy brands. For over a decade, they’ve produced professional Mandarin stand-up comedy shows, developed comedians, and brought Chinese comedy to audiences across China and around the world. Over the past six months, they’ve built a recurring Mandarin comedy residency at Q.E.D. Comedy Club in New York. Now, they’re bringing that momentum to Broadway Comedy Club in Manhattan.

Featuring professional comedians from New York, Mainland China, Taiwan, and beyond, every show is performed entirely in Mandarin with original stand-up comedy.

Tony Chou 周托尼（主持人,制作人）
Tony Chou 是中国脱口秀行业的早期奠基人和重要推动者，也是极少数能够用英语在全球巡演的中国脱口秀演员之一。自 2013 年起，他和Des Bishop在北京创办并运营脱口秀俱乐部“幽默小区（The Humor Section）”，孵化出中国第一代脱口秀演员，其中很多已成为家喻户晓的明星。
Tony Chou常驻于纽约-北京，喜剧足迹遍布美国和他的祖国中国，也扩展至英国、澳大利亚、爱尔兰、新加坡、中国香港、日本、泰国、马来西亚、越南，以及国际邮轮等多个国家和地区。他是第一位在国际邮轮上用表演的中国脱口秀演员，并作为唯一中国演员把个人英语专场“Too Funny fir Beijing”搬上2025悉尼艺穗喜剧节。部分中国观众认识 Tony，是因为他曾共同主持一档获奖的美式深夜脱口秀节目《恶毒梁欢秀》，该节目在大型流媒体平台 TV.Sohu 播出，后因故下架，但仍被很多观众视为中国最酷、最具表达的喜剧综艺之一。Tony 被几十家中外主流媒体专访或报道，包括 BBC、《大西洋月刊》（The Atlantic）、CNN、《经济学人》（The Economist）、《纽约时报》（The New York Times）、央视（CCTV）等。

Esther Chen
Esther Chen 是来自台湾的脱口秀演员和演员，曾出现在 HBO、Netflix、Comedy Central、NBC 和 FX 等平台。她曾出演《And Just Like That》和《Law & Order: Organized Crime》，并参与 Jerry Seinfeld Netflix 专场宣传。她的作品被《纽约时报》、TimeOut 和 CNN 报道，并曾为 Sheng Wang 担任开场嘉宾。

Esther Chen is a stand-up comedian and actor from Taiwanhe. S is seen on HBO, Hulu, Amazon, FX, NBC, Netflix, Comedy Central, Buzzfeed and MTV. She is also the dialect coach for Mr. Robot Seasons 2&3 and contributed to the translations on the show. She is the producer, host, and performer of the show Asians Strike Back: A Coronavirus Comedy + Science Show, which was picked up by CBS Insider News, CNN podcast, Now This, South China Morning Post and featured on the New York Times, Gothamist and TimeOut. Recently, Esther recurred on the new Sex and the City show– And Just Like That, shot a promo for Jerry Seinfeld’s Netflix special 23 Hours to Kill, and guest starred on Law and Order: Organized Crime. She is a 2023 Fellow at the Yes and Laughter Lab and a 2023 Finalist at the Ladies Room Comedy Festival. She has performed at the American Embassy in Taiwan, a bakery in Chinatown, and opened for Sheng Wang.
