"Chiarina Chen: Heal Me Through Your Nightmare," as part of The Immigrant Artist Biennial 2023: Contact Zone

In the dream-sharing workshop Heal Me Through Your Nightmare, Chinese-born independent curator and writer Chiarina Chen will lead the group to delve into the depths of their unconscious mind, in a posthuman light. Through guided meditation, body connection activities, and reflective writing participants will explore the terrain of nightmares and encounter the raw and unfiltered expressions of fear, absurdity, and hope. Merging uncanny narratives and marginalized experiences dream sharers will discover the power of healing and collectivity.

Wendy’s Subway is a reading room, writing space, and independent publisher dedicated to encouraging creative, critical, and discursive engagement with arts and literature. The workshop is part of The Immigrant Artist Biennial 2023: Contact Zone held across venues in New York and New Jersey from September 2023 to January 2024.
