SHOW MISSION: Kyle Marian and Esther Chen are excited to co-produce this all-Asian comedy show exploring the science and social repercussions of racialized emerging diseases. Asian resentment all across the world saw a massive uptick when the news of the coronavirus (2019n-CoV) outbreak. So they invited some of NYC’s best Asian comedians to roast the heck out of the food- & culture-haters while digging deep at the roots of the Asian diaspora, Sino-phobia, and more. The show will be interspersed with conversations from Asian and Asian-American virologists, epidemiologists, anthropologists, and more. The show will end with a Face Mask fashion show where commentators will discuss what the different masks are good for — from preventing flu spread, protection from climate disasters, to fighting the power, and more.
