Asian American Authors Book Talk—Gish Jen Discusses her Short Stories Collection: Thank You, Mr. Nixon

Please join us for a virtual book talk with Gish Jen. We will be discussing her collection of short stories, Thank You, Mr. Nixon: stories, which is available through the NYPL catalog. This talk is part of a conversation series with Asian American authors and their works.

Thank You, Mr. Nixon is Jen’s ninth book. Her short work has appeared in dozens of anthologies, textbooks, and periodicals, including the New Yorker and the Atlantic. Jen is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and is currently a visiting professor at Harvard University.

Registration is required. You will need a device with audio and/or video and an internet connection to join. You must register with an email address in order to receive the link to participate. The link will be sent to you the day of the discussion. Space is limited to 100 people.
