Starmaker Prayer Ritual performance by Orange Li

The Starmaker Prayer Ritual invites all the participants to reconnect to their inner voice and send out the love and hope to themselves and others by writing their and loved one’s name into the folding stars. During the ceremony, when we thank and invite the elements, directions and spirit animals to open up the sacred place, It will allow people to feel and remember the richness in life where Mother Earth has given us all those ingredients for us in life. It will also remind us we are all part of the natural system. The artist is not interested in whether we should believe this practice or not, but interested in exploring the freedom for the mind to explore, to imagine and to embrace alternative healing practices.
After this socially engaged art performance, we hope to bring some light, hope and healing back into our lives.
