Activate Equity 2021: Landscaping Abundance

Activate Equity brings together of a community of artists, activists, and educators who seek to disrupt the racial and social inequities in the arts & culture sector through creative solutions. The Field organizes this annual event not to center our organization in this movement, but to connect and amplify those who are doing the work. The day-long program is action-oriented, with multiple ways to engage and contribute - ultimately aiming to introduce new models, information, techniques, resources, and connections.

This year’s theme is: Landscaping Abundance.

Finance is not just nuts and bolts, cold shoulder, and a bottom line. Your financial life is more nuanced than that. Your finances directly affect your livelihood, how you move about your life, and what you hope to accomplish. For our 5th Anniversary of Activate Equity, we invite you to radically change from a scarcity mindset to one of abundance.

Join us online, for any part of the day or for the entire day, along with Theatre of The Oppressed, Maysoon Zayid, Shalewa Mackall, to address the challenges and opportunities that lie within any one’s financial journey.

Price:
$0-80 (Sliding Scale) The Field offers self-determined sliding scale tickets in order to make Activate Equity accessible for our artists and the greater community. Admission includes access to the full day of programming.

Registrants will receive as Zoom link to Activate Equity on Friday, April 9th at 7pm EST. A reminder email will be sent to registrants 15 minutes before the start of event.
