AAPI Pride Variety Show

Asian American Arts Alliance (A4) is excited to kick off Pride month with the AAPI Pride Variety Show, a night celebrating queer AAPI performance across drag, comedy, dance, and more!

Hosted by drag queen Shia Ho with music by DJ Baejing, the evening features emerging artists, bold debuts, and experimental work from the AAPI community. The final line-up will be announced on May 18.

All ticket proceeds directly support performer fees.

Community Statement: We aim to create environments in person and online that are welcoming, inclusive, and safe – physically and emotionally – for our community members. If we observe actions or behaviors that can be interpreted as harmful or threatening, A4 retains the right to use our discretion and remove the offending party. For our community’s safety, we further reserve the right to suspend an offending party’s attendance at A4 events both in-person and virtual in perpetuity and removal from our online offerings (e.g. newsletter). When you register for an A4 event, you will be asked to agree to this community statement.

Accessibility: The venue is located at street level, with double doors that open easily. Tables can be arranged to meet accessibility needs, and staff are available to assist. Two restrooms are available inside the venue, including one ADA-accessible restroom located on the left.

About Lauren Auyeung
Lauren Auyeung (LORAIYA) is a multimedia artist working across movement, music, design, and performance art. Her interdisciplinary practice spans contemporary dance theater, hyperpop music, and drag, exploring the relationship between bodies, sound, and technology through her ever-evolving practice.
