AAPI Comedy Night

Celebrate AAPI Month with NYC’s hottest AAPI improvisers and story tellers in this one of a kind comedy extravaganza!

10 comedians and improvisers (including Billy Soco, Magnet Theater’s director of Megawatt teams) are performing for AAPI Comedy Night, where AAPI monologists will share true stories about their life to inspire funny, fully made-up improvised scenes. After this, AAPI improvisers from around NYC will have the chance to perform together in sets inspired by our heritage and suggestions from the audience.

Performing at Wild East Brewing Co., a brewery co-owned by Korean American novelist Patricia Park, author of the award-winning novel, Re Jane, and the YA novels Imposter Syndrome & Other Confessions of Alejandra Kim, along with her latest book, What’s Eating Jackie Oh?
